3.2.2 Components 4. HOW TO WEAR PROTECTIVE
CLOTHING
PROTECTIVE CLOTHES can be worn in direct contact with the
skin or over a light layer of fabric (such as t-shirts and leggings).
To wear SLIM AND SOFT KNEE PROTECTION knee pads, take
off your shoes and slip them on like a sock until they are correctly
positioned on the knee, respecting the right and left.
Similarly, to wear SLIM AND SOFT ELBOW PROTECTION
elbow pads, slip them on from the hand and slide them until they
are correctly positioned on the elbow, respecting the right and left.
The FULL BODY PROTECTION jersey is equipped with a zip at
the front that allows it to be worn comfortably by the user.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING is available in sizes: S - M - L - XL.
When choosing the size, it is recommended to try the clothing on
properly by replicating the typical pedalling movements in order to
check its fit and stability.
5. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Clean the PROTECTIVE CLOTHING with a microfibre cloth
moistened with water and/or neutral products.
In the protective clothing SLIM AND SOFT KNEE PROTECTION
model VREQKG1 and SLIM AND SOFT ELBOW PROTECTION
model VREQEG1 the D3O
®
inner protectors are not removable,
therefore, the items are not washable.
The D3O
®
inner protectors of the FULL BODY PROTECTION
clothing model VREQGU1, on the other hand, are removable,
so the item can be washed by hand after removing all protectors.
Observe the indications on the care label accompanying the
items.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING must be replaced when it shows
signs of wear and tear and/or following impacts and injuries.
Store PROTECTIVE CLOTHING in a cool, dry place, away from
direct sunlight.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING may be damaged if handled and
used incorrectly or stored improperly. It is recommended that
items be inspected periodically to check their condition.
Dispose of the PROTECTIVE CLOTHING in an environmentally
sound manner and in compliance with applicable regulatory and
legislative requirements.
