ATTENTION!
If the unit’s mounted height from the floor is less than 2.5 meters, the special pro-
tective grille must be installed to avoid accidental contact with the moving parts.
Instructions for installation:
1) Fix on the appropriate wall, at the base of the chimney, either the fram supplied
(A) or embed four bolts M8 in a wall space 357 x 357 (Fig.1).
2) Mount the complete chimney ventilator (B) on either the fram of the bolts and fix
with the M8 nuts
, rosette and the screws
provided.
3) Remove the protective cap (C) from the motor, unscrewing the four bolts (D) to
give access to the electric terminal block contained in the box on the motor.
4) Pass the connecting cable through the cable clamp (E) and connect to the moto
ras shown in the diagram on rear page.
5) Tighten the cable clamp on the terminal box and replace the metal hood of the
fan. Pull any slack back through clamp (E) and tighten.
6) Insert the supply cable in a metallic spiral tube or at least a protective meta tube
Ø 16 ext. That should be placed at a distance of at least 50 ÷ 70 cm from the grille
of the chimney ventilator (Fig.3).
7) Check that the fan is rotating in the diraction indicated on the metal plate ( see
connection diagram).
8) For safety reasons, attach the safety cable to the base of the unit (as shown in
Fig.3) and secure the other end to the top of the masonry roof.
Note:
1. When used in conjunction with the remote controller the wiring connections are
described in the controller leaflet.
2. When installed the appliance must be controlled by a suitable fuse.
