Stale air outlet
(extract to exterior)
(fig. 13).
This outlet is used to expel stale air once it has been
treated by the heat exchanger. The ducting for this stale
air must be thermally insulated (to prevent the formation
of condensation on internal and external components)
and devices fitted to absorb vibration. If the drainage
system is on the roof, it must be designed so as to
prevent the formation of condensation and the entry of
rain water.
Fresh air inlet
(supply from exterior)
. (fig. 14)
This inlet is used for carrying fresh air from the exterior;
The conduit must be thermally insulated and have and
devices fitted to absorb vibration. If air intake system is
on the roof, it must be designed so as to prevent the
formation of condensation and the entry of rain water.
Stale air extraction outlet
(extract from interior)
(fig. 15)
This outlet is used to conduct air extracted from inside
the house to the appliance. The conduit needs to be
thermally insulated.
Clean air intake
(supply to interior)
(fig. 16)
This inlet is used to introduce external air into the home,
following treatment in the heat exchanger. In order to
minimise noise levels, a silencer, not provided, should
be fixed to this conduit
Connection of the condensation drainage hose.
The connection point for this tube is located on the
underside of the appliance. The condensation drainage
can be achieved by connecting the siphon supplied
(installation with Prometeo in horizontal position:
fig.18A, installation with Prometeo in vertical position:
fig.18B).
WARNING: don’t install the siphon in orizontal
position.
The condensation drainage can also be routed to the
home drainage system.
