Frame and equipment supplied
The main parts of the apparatus are:
• An air-tight casing made up of two parts that houses
the devices for connecting the air inlet and outlet
pipes as well as the internal components and heat
exchanger;
• The internal ducts that distribute the air optimising
heat insulation and minimising losses.
• The plastic resin countercurrent type heat exchanger
whose special shape ensures the highest possible
efficiency in terms of heat exchange (95%)
• The two three-phase brushless motors mounted on
anti-vibration supports that drive the impellers;
• The stepper motor that manages the by-pass and de-
frosting valves;
• The electronic circuit board that governs power
supply, appliance commands and controls;
• The four temperature sensors which the system’s
electronics controls use to automatically decide the
operating mode.
Accessories supplied
The accessories supplied as standard include:
• a condensation drain pipe;
• a pipette for connecting the drain pipe;
• 2 filters with F5 retention;
• two metal brackets for mounting the appliance
vertically
• four supports for mounting the appliance horizontally;
• a control unit connected to the appliance for selecting
fan speed, and for turning the unit ON and OFF.
• A silencer, with a standard diameter of 150 mm and
0.5 m in length, to be placed downstream of the
product, on the room intake ducts
Installation
The appliance must be installed according to the safety
regulations currently in force in the country of
destination, and the instructions provided by this
manual.
Prerequisites
The appliance must be mounted on an internal surface
or wall that is structurally sound and able to bear its
weight (at least 200 Kg/m
2
).
The appliance must not be installed in areas where the
temperature may drop below 0°C.
The place chosen for installation must take into account
the position of the 2.5 metre power supply cable and the
electrical connections that are on the bottom of the
appliance (fig. 2).
The conduits used for carrying ducting must be of the
right size.
Conduits to and from the exterior must be thermally
insulated and not subject to vibration.
The inlet and outlet pipes measuring a standard
diameter of 150mm must be secured to the
corresponding couplings on the appliance by means of
clips or other suitable fastening systems.
In order to minimise noise, a silencer must be mounted
on the air inlet into the living area (fig. 3).
During normal operation, condensation collects on the
bottom of the appliance. In order to dispose of it, the
small hose provided must be fixed to the attachment
placed on the underside of the appliance (fig. 4) and
connected to a drainage pipe (see Assembly).
