Accessibility
The appliance must be easily accessible for
servicing/maintenance purposes. In particular, the false
ceiling in which the appliance is installed must have a
suitably proportioned inspection hatch, providing access
to the flap by which the electrical/electronic parts and the
filters are enclosed. This means the appliance does not
need to be removed from the false ceiling either for
routine maintenance purposes (filter replacement), or
when major servicing operations are necessary (e.g.
replacement of a fan unit or of the electronic controller).
