MAINTENANCE / CLEANING
Before carrying out any work, disconnect the
appliance from the mains.
Cleaning the appliance.
Use a soft cloth to clean the unit. Do not use volatile
chemical products, petrol, detergents, chemically
treated cloths or other cleaning products.
Cleaning the air filter (dust filter)
Remove the condensation collection tank and then
remove the filter housing (fig.7)
Use a vacuum cleaner or simply shake the filter gently.
If the filter is particularly dirty, scrub with warm water.
Before replacing the filter, make sure that it is
completely dry.
Do not expose the filter to direct sunlight.
N.B.
The active carbon filter is not washable. This type
of filter lasts for differing lengths of time depending on
conditions of use and the type of appliance. Check the
filter from time to time and, if necessary, replace it.
Storage
If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time,
you need to:
• turn it OFF;
• disconnect the plug and rewind the power supply
cable;
• completely empty, dry and clean the condensation
tank;
• cover the appliance and put it in a safe place away
from direct light.

differentiated disposal centre for
electrical

appliances or be returned to the
retailer when a new equivalent appliance is bought.
Subject to current legislation on waste disposal, the
user is legally responsible for taking the appliance at
the end of its useful life to a suitable disposal centre.
Appropriate
differentiated
waste
collection
for
subsequent recycling, treatment and environment-
friendly disposal of the discarded equipment helps to
prevent possible negative environmental and health
effects and encourages recycling of the component
materials of the equipment.
For further information about available waste disposal
systems, contact your local waste disposal service or
the shop where you bought the product.
The manufacturers and importers comply with their
responsibility
for
recycling,
treating,
and
environmentally compatible disposal of waste both
directly and collectively.
