28 Install two 9996239 Lifting tool on the cylinder

head and lift it away.

NOTICE!

The timing gear sealant may make it

necessary to carefully prise the cylinder head
away until it is free.

Lower the cylinder head onto a clean surface.

IMPORTANT!

The sealing surface must not be damaged.

29 Remove the cylinder head gasket.

Install 9996966 Press tool to keep the liners in
place. Make sure the press tools are not able to
damage the pistons if they are to be removed.
