Insert the battery pack into the charger.
Insert the power plug into the socket. The
green charge control LED lights up briefly,
then the red charge control LED lights up.
The green control LED indicates that
charging is complete and the battery
pack is ready for use.
Special safety instructions for sand-
ing and scraping
Only use the power tool for dry sanding. Do
not sand or scrape moist material. Penetra-
tion of water into the power tool increases
the risk of electric shock.
Avoid overheating the sanded object and
the sander itself. Possible fire hazard.
The workpiece gets hot during grinding. Do
not touch the machined area, allow it to cool
down.
When sanding, it is recommended that the
dust extractionsystem is used.
Residual risk
Even if properly operating and handling this
product in accordance with all the safety
requirements, potential risks of injury and
damage remain.
a) Ear damage if working without ear protec-
tion.
b) The harmful /toxic dusts produced during
operation pose the risk to the health of the
operator and persons in the vicinity. Wear
eye protection and a dust mask.
c) The device is not a toy and does not be-
long in the hands of children.
Before use
Charging the battery pack
Never charge the battery pack at an
ambient temperature of below 10°C or
above 40°C.
If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for
an extended period, the charge level
must be checked regularly. The optimum
charge level is between 50% and 80%.
The storage climate should be cool and
dry and the ambient temperature should
be between 0°C and 50°C.
Always disconnect the mains plug before
removing the battery pack from or inserting
it into the charger.

Set the rotation direction switch to the
middle position. Slide the battery pack into
the handle until it engages .
Removing the battery pack:
Press the release button and remove the
battery pack.
Checking the battery charge level
To check the battery status, press the battery
charge level button. The status/remaining
charge is shown on the battery display LED
as follows:
GREEN/RED/ORANGE = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery.
Use
Replacing the tool head
Removing tool head
a) Push the unlocking lever into the unlock
position and then hold it in this position.
b) Pull the unlocked tool head forward.
c) Allow the unlocking lever to slide back
into position.
Fitting tool head
a)Push the tool head along the guide rail into
the motor unit . It locks into place audibly.
b) Allow the unlocking lever to slide back
into position.
c) Check that the tool head is secure by pull-
ing on it.
Always remove the battery from the tool
before replacing the tool head, saw blades
or sanding sheets.
