Special safety instructions for the 4
in 1 tool
Never hold the workpiece in your hand or
over your leg. Clamp the workpiece in a
stable clamping device. It is important that
the workpiece is properly clamped so that
the risk of body contact and loss of control
of the power tool is minimized.
Before working on walls, ceilings or floors,
check with a suitable detector that there are
no electrical, gas and / or water pipes in the
work area.
Note that the insert tool can be sharp and
hot. Always wear gloves when changing
drills or saw blades to avoid burns or cuts.
Before each use, check that the power
switch is working properly and returns to the
off position when released.
Use ear protection, eye protection, dust
protective face mask and gloves.
Special safety instructions when
sawing
Use only undamaged saw blades that are
suitable for the task at hand.
Check that the saw blade cannot come into
contact with objects or surfaces behind the
workpiece.
Mark the saw line clearly. Use cutting oil
when sawing metal.
Press the power switch to start the product
and allow it to reach the set maximum stroke
frequency before the saw blade comes into
contact with the workpiece.
Do not force the product. Let the adjust-
able plate rest firmly against the workpiece
during sawing. Just push just so hard that
the saw blade works its way through the
workpiece. Reduce the pressure as the saw
blade approaches the end of the cut.
Immediately release the switch if the saw
blade jams or gets stuck. Widen the cut with
a suitable tool and pull out the saw blade.
Keep your hands away from the cutting area
and blade. Hold the other hand on the sup-
port handle or on the engine cover. If you
hold the saw with both hands, they cannot
come into contact with the blade. Do not
extend under the workpiece.
To avoid kickback:
Do not move the saw from the workpiece
while the saw blade is moving.
Hold the saw firmly with both hands and
arms in a position that prevents throwing.
Stand next to the saw, not in line with it.
Risk of vibration damage. Avoid long work
shifts and interrupt work in case of changes
in the skin color of the hands or if the fingers
become numb. Plan your work so that expo-
sure to strong vibrations is distributed over a
longer period of time.
