Unit installation
Place the laboratory power supply on a stable, level and robust surface. Make sure that ventilation slots
in the casing are not covered up.
The front feet of the device can be unfolded for easier reading of the displays. They allow you to put the
laboratory power supply into a tilted position.
Set the output voltage of output A
Remove the connected consumer from output A (14 and 15).
Switch on the mains power supply at the power switch (1). The operating display (2) lights up and the
current and voltage display appears on the display.
Put the current adjustment controls “A” (12) into central position.
Via the two rotary controls “V coarse” and “V fine” (13) you can set the output voltage for output A.
„coarse“
Coarse control for fast voltage change
„fine“
Fine control for precise voltage selection
☞
In normal mode the device operates in constant voltage mode. This means that the
power supply emits a constant, preset output voltage. This operation is indicated with a
green status display “CV“ (4).
Set the output voltage of output A
Setting the output current is a protection mechanism to protect the consumer or connection cables. The
current limitation can be pre-set without short circuit at the output. The power supply delivers the maxi-
mum of the pre-set current.
Remove the connected consumer from output A (14 and 15).
Switch on the mains power supply at the power switch (1). The operating display (2) lights up and the
current and voltage display appears on the display.
Turn the current controls „A coarse“ and „A fine“ (12) all the way to the left.
Press the button „C-limit“ (5) and hold the button down during the set up procedure. The display „CC“ lights
up during setting. The output will turn off automatically, as long as the “C -limit” button is pressed down.
Via the two rotary controls “A coarse“ and “A fine“, you can set the maximum current strength (current
limitation). The LED display “CC” is lit as long as the current limitation is active.
„coarse“

„fine“
Fine control for precise current setting
Let go of the “C-limit” button after successful setting. The display shows the actual current (with output
00.0 A switched off). The status display „CV“ is lit.
☞
If the preset current is reached in normal operation, the power supply switches to
current limitation mode and reduces the voltage value. This operation is indicated with
a red status display “CC“ (4).
