c) Charging the built-in rechargeable battery via te USB port of a computer
• First, disconnect the device connected to the charging output of the power bank.
It is not possible to use the charging output and to charge the power bank at the same
time.
• Now connect both USB-A plugs of the USB-Y cable provided with your PC or a USB hub
with its own power adapter. The current from both USB plugs is added (500 mA each for
USB2.0) so that a charging process of the power bank is possible.
Do not use USB ports of e.g. a keyboard or a USB hub without its own power adapter
as the current provided here is not sufficient.
• Then, connect the microUSB plug of the USB-Y cable with the microUSB socket of the
power bank.
Important!
Always connect the two USB-A plugs of the USB-Y cable provided
first
with your
PC or a USB hub with its own power adapter, and
then
connect the microUSB plug
with the corresponding socket of the power bank.
• During the charging process, the LEDs indicate the respective charging level.
Here, the permanently lit LEDs indicate the charging level (1 LED permanently lit = battery
25% charged, 2 LEDs = 50%, 3 LEDs = 75%, 4 LEDs = 100%) and flashing LEDs indicate
the content to be charged.
Example: 3 LEDs are permanently lit, one LED flashes: The battery is 75% recharged and
the remaining 25% are currently charged.
• The charging duration is dependant on the charging level of the battery and may be several
hours (for charging duration of a completely flat battery, see chapter “Technical Data”).
• Once the built-in rechargeable battery is fully charged, disconnect the microUSB plug from
the power bank. The power bank is now ready for use.
d) Charging the mobile device
• First, disconnect the power bank from the charging cable, remove the microUSB plug from
the power bank.
It is not possible to use the charging outputs and to charge the power bank at the same
time.
• The power bank has two charging ports; a which a suitable mobile device (e.g. smartphone)
can be charged at each.
One of the charging ports provides a charging current of max. 1 A, the other charging
port provides a charging current of max. 2 A. Pay attention to the labelling next to the
respective charging port.
You can use both charging ports at the same time.
Connect the respective USB-A port to your mobile device/smartphone using a suitable
cable.
• Press the operating button briefly to switch on the power bank. The 4 LEDs show the
present charge level of the built-in rechargeable battery (1 LED = 25%, 2 LEDs = 50%,
3 LEDs = 75%, 4 LEDs = 100%). A single flashing LED indicates that the charge level is
below 25%.
• Monitor the charging process. Once the mobile device/smartphone is fully charged (or the
rechargeable battery of the power bank is empty), the power bank will turn off.
• To stop charging manually, disconnect the cable connection between your mobile device/
smartphone and the power bank by unplugging the USB plug of the cable from the USB-A
port on the power bank.
The power bank switches off automatically after a few seconds, the blue LEDs of the
charging level indicator go out.
e) Using the torch function
• Hold down the operating button for about 2 seconds to switch the white LED of the torch on
or off.
This will also activate the LEDs of the charging level indicator, see above under a).
• When the white LED is on, you can toggle between continuous light and SOS flashing
function by pressing the operating button.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason. The rechargeable battery is permanently installed and cannot be replaced.
Clean the product carefully, e.g. with a soft, clean cloth. Dust can be easily removed with a
soft, clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents and no chemicals at all for cleaning; these can lead
not only to discolouration, but can also damage the product.
DISPOSAL
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste.
Please dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to current
statutory requirements.
