When the receiver has not been operated for 5 seconds, the key lock will be automatically
activated. Additionally, this will be indicated by a sound. To deactivate the key lock, just press
any button.
Each time a button is pressed it will be confirmed by an audible touch tone and will trigger the
product’s backlight for 5 seconds.
Selecting a language
Press the Lang button (21) to select a language.

Press the Lang button (21) repeatedly until your required language symbol (6) has been reached

(ES: Spanish, DE: German, EN: English, DK: Danish, FR: French).
The setting is stored automatically.

Selecting a mode
The product features two different operating modes: The programme mode and the manual mode.
The programme mode enables the use of preset programmes.
The manual mode enables the individual setting of the timer as a stopwatch or countdown and/or
setting of the desired target temperature.
To switch to another mode, deactivate the key lock by pressing any button, if required.

The programme mode is activated when the meat type indicator (11) and the doneness level

indicator (7) are displayed on the monitor.
The manual mode is activated when neither the meat type indicator (11) nor the doneness level

indicator (7) are displayed.
Programme mode
With the meat types beef, lamb and veal you can select from four doneness levels
(RARE,MEDIUM RARE, MEDIUM, WELL DONE). For all other meat types, the doneness level
“WELL DONE” is automatically selected.

Using the Meat / Up button (1) you can select the meat type. Press the Meat / Up button (1)

repeatedly until you have selected the required icon for the meat type indicator. The device also
indicates the meat types acoustically.
