Connection
Only the camera sensor may be submerged in de-energised liquids. The camera
sensor must not be submerged above the marking “IP67 max. water level”. The
socket area must always stay dry.
The camera sensor must only be used for inspection in de-energised equipment.
The camera sensor is made of metal and this may lead to short-circuits. For safety
reasons, turn off all power sources before each inspection.
Avoid heavy mechanical loads and vibrations.
1. Turn off the borescope.
2. Insert the plug of the camera sensor (with metal nose) into the connection socket of the
borescope. The metal nose of the plug only fits into the socket on the correct side. Secure
the plug connection with the screw sleeve on the borescope by turning it clockwise.
3. Make sure the connection socket is aligned exactly with the pins of the connection plug. The
metal nose of the plug only fits into the socket on the correct side.
4. Turn on the borescope.
5. Proceed in reverse order to disconnect the camera sensor from the borescope.
Information about controlling the LED brightness can be found in the operating in-
structions of the borescope.
Cleaning
• To clean the camera lens, use a soft cloth or a cleaning swab.
• Clean the camera sensor using a soft, damp cleaning cloth. Always store the well-dried
camera sensor in the carrier bag provided to avoid damage.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.

BS-2.0/1m borescope camera sensor
Item no. 2139964
Intended use
This product serves as a camera attachment for borescopes with interchangeable borescope
camera sensors for optical troubleshooting or inspection of de-energised systems and equip-
ment. The four LEDs integrated in the camera head enable recordings or photos in totally dark
areas. The brightness can be adjusted via the connected borescope. The camera sensor is
waterproof up to the marking (IP67) and perfectly suitable for use in de-energised liquids (no
acids or bases).
It is forbidden to use the product on people and animals and in potentially explosive environ-
ments. The power is supplied via the respective connected borescope.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. Furthermore,
improper use may cause risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, injuries, etc.
The borescope is not a medical product and is not approved for use on people and animals.
