2. INTENDED USE
The energy costs meter is intended for measuring and analyzing consumption data of electric
appliances. The meter is to be placed between a wall socket and electric appliance and does not
require any further installation efforts. The device must only be used with a normal isolated ground
receptacle in your home featuring a rated voltage of 230 V/AC 50Hz. The maximum rated power
must not exceed 3680 Watts.
You may enter the current electricity rate for cost calculation purposes. The device can further
generate a cost forecast per day, week, month or year. It is possible to display and set consumption
data on the device even when disconnected from the mains supply. The device features a built-in
rechargeable battery for that purpose. The meter has not been calibrated officially and hence must
not be used for billing purposes.
This product fulfils European and national requirements related to electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC). CE conformity has been verified and the relevant statements and documents have been
deposited at the manufacturer.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
This product complies with the statutory national and European requirements.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the
instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with
its operating instructions.
