16 Mobile app
The mobile app extends the thermal imager functions. With the mobile app you can
import, analyse, and share images. You can also print reports.
16.1 Installing the mobile app
Download the mobile app
“Thermal Camera” (Voltcraft)
from the Google Play
Store/Apple App Store. Install the mobile app on your mobile device.
16.2 Connecting mobile app and thermal imager via Wi-Fi
To live-stream thermal images or download photos onto the mobile app, you must
connect the mobile app to the thermal imager via Wi-Fi.
1.
On the thermal imager, enable the Wi-Fi function.
Go to >
Device Setting
>
WiFi
and move the slider to the right.
Take note of the SSID and the password.

On your mobile device, connect to the thermal imager Wi-Fi network using the
SSID and the password.
Note:
For security reasons, you are advised to set your own SSID and change the
password. On the thermal imager, go to

Device Setting
>
WiFi
.
16.3 Live-streaming the thermal image
To live-stream the thermal image you must connect your mobile device to the ther-
mal imager via Wi-Fi. After the connection is established, you can view the thermal
image on your mobile device.
1. Connect the thermal imager to the mobile app via Wi-Fi.
2.
Open the mobile app and start to live-stream the thermal image.
