•  After a while, the thermometer switches off automatically to save battery power. You can

switch the device off manually at any time by pressing the ON/OFF key.

c) Measurement units

Turn the thermometer on and press the °C/°F key

(7)

. Pressing this key changes the

measurement unit, which will be shown on the display.

d) MIN/MAX measurement

The minimum and maximum temperatures are automatically saved after each start-up.
These saved measurements can be displayed using the MIN/MAX key

(4)

. When you press

this key, the display switches from the MIN value to the MAX value (or vice versa). After a few

seconds, the device automatically switches back to the normal measurement display.
The MIN and MAX values are deleted when the device is switched off.

e)

Recording the displayed temperature

The thermometer can hold the measured value on the screen, making it easier to read.
1  Press the H/T key

(5)

during the measurement. The reading will be recorded and the

HOLD symbol will flash.

2  Press the H/T key again to switch back to the normal measuring mode.

f) Temperature limits

The thermometer allows you to set an upper (HI) and lower (LO) temperature limit. If the upper

limit is exceeded, or the temperature falls below the lower limit, an alarm tone will sound every

minute until the temperature is within the set range.
The two alarm levels can be set either simultaneously or separately. The alarm settings are

deleted as soon as the device is switched off.
•  To set the upper alarm level, follow these steps:
1  Switch the thermometer on.
2  Hold the HI AL key

(6)

until the desired alarm value is displayed, and then release the key.

The HI symbol will be displayed to indicate that the HI alarm is enabled.

•  To set the lower alarm level, follow these steps:
1  Switch the thermometer on.
2  Hold the LO AL key

(8)

until the desired alarm value is displayed, and then release the

key. The LOW symbol will be displayed to indicate that the LO alarm is enabled.

Note:
•  Make sure that the two alarm levels do not overlap.
•  The HI alarm value may not be lower than the LO alarm value, and the LO alarm value may

not be higher than the HI alarm value.

Care and cleaning

•  Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol, or other chemical solutions as

they can cause damage to the housing and functioning of the product.

•

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.

(rechargeable) batteries. Disposing of them in household waste is prohibited.

(Rechargeable) batteries containing hazardous substances are labeled with this

symbol to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden. The abbreviations

for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name

on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the waste bin icon on the left).

Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our

stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.

You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
