To measure the power data of an electric drive, proceed as follows:
Connect the Power Analyzer according to the
pattern indicated above. By connecting the
charged drive battery to the T-connection socket
“POWER SOURCE”, the Power Analyzer is
activated as well.
After the start-up display “VOLTCRAFT POWER
ANALYZER”, the operating mode menu is
displayed. The last selected mode is already
marked with two arrows.
If required, use the “SELECT” button to choose
the display “WATT” and confirm your input with
“OK”.
The display now shows the current values for
current (A), voltage of the drive battery (V),
power (W) and the capacity taken from the
rechargeable battery.
When you start up the drive motor via the remote control now, you can read the current
values.
After completing the measurements, use the “ESC” button to return to the operating mode
menu and disconnect the battery.

Pressing the “SELECT” button for 3 seconds while measuring power will calibrate all
measured values to “0”. This way, e.g., the current value for the receiver and servos
can be ignored, and only the pure motor current is measured.
