Remedy
• No power to DTX-9900K
• Check and reinsert cable at
both ends
Symptom
Cause
• Power cord is not inserted
correctly
• No sound from the
DTX-9900K
• Check and reconnect input source
cables
• Input source is connected
improperly
• Input source is not functioning
correctly
• Ensure input source is working
and is playing back. Replace if
necessary.
• Only get sound from one side
• Check input source's L/R
connection and replace cable if
necessary
• Input source's L/R connection
is loose on one side (if analog)
• Speaker connection to one
side is loose or not connected
• Check speaker cable connection
and replace cable if necessary
• Consistent "hum" with sound
• Check speaker cable connections
one at a time and replace if
necessary
• Speaker cables may be
defective
• AC power supply is
compromised
• Ensure AC outlet or power strip is
not overloaded or malfunctioning
• Remote control is not
working
• Replace batteries with fresh
batteries
• Remote control batteries
need replacement
• Remote control line of sight
with remote sensor on front
panel is compromised
• Remote control is being
operated too far from
the DTX-9900K
• Ensure no obstacles are in the way
of remote control and sensor
(including the remote control
transmitting eye being
excessively dirty
• Shorten distance between remote
control and DTX-9900K
• No input signal detected
• Check input source connection and
replace cable if necessary
• Input source is not connected
properly
• DTX-9900K is not aware of
the input signal
• Use the Auto-detect feature or
toggle the Input button to the
correct channel. If that doesn't
work reset the machines power.
• No graphic display output
• Press the Display On/Off button
• Display has been turned off
