Before Using
(1) Before using
the
autoguider,
make sure to
align the
mount to the
celestial axis
(North or
South Pole) precisely with the Polar axis scope.
(2) Connect the autoguider to the autoguider port of the STAR BOOK. (When you connect
SBIG’s autoguider, be sure to switch the power On in order of autoguider, RA motor and
STAR BOOK.)
(3) Set backlash compensation values to 0 both in RA And DEC.
Setting Autoguider
(1)
Press Menu to display the System Menu.
(2) Move the cursor to Autoguider with the
keys and press Select to enter.
(3) Move the cursor with the
keys and select your setting preference with the
Value+, Value- keys. Choose OK and press Select to enter.
