Frequency
The options in the Frequency menu
represent the frequency of the
electrical current in fluorescent lighting
sources in your locale. If your
camcorder is set to a frequency that
does not match your country’s electric
current, you may see waves on the
images taken by your camcorder.

Setting for European electricity
frequency.
60Hz
Setting for American electricity
frequency.
Logo Display
You have the option to display the logo
while powering on and off.

Sets
the opening/closing screen on or off.
Quick Review
Use this menu to set the time the
preview of the image appears on the
LCD immediately after it is captured.

Format
You can use the Format menu to
delete all of the content that is
currently on your camcorder’s memory
card.
Keep in mind that formatting the
memory card will permanently delete
all of the content on your camcorder’s
memory card.
This option can only delete all of the
content at one time. If you would like to
delete individual images, use the
Delete menu in the camcorder’s
Playback mode.
