General Camcorder Setup Menus
To enter the general settings for your camcorder:
1.
While in Video/Photo Capture Mode or Playback Mode, press the
MENU
button and use
the
UP
or
DOWN
button to
select ‘Setup’ (
).
2.
Press the
OK
button to enter the Setup Menu options.
Camcorder Setup Menus:
Date/Time
The Date/Time menu allows you to set
your camcorder’s date and time as
desired.
Year, Month,
Day, Hour,
Minute, Second,
Display Format
Sets the time that appears on the image
or video clips.
Auto Power Off
You can use the Auto Power Off
feature in order to conserve you
camcorder
’s battery life. The
designated time represents when your
camcorder will automatically power off.
When the camcorder sits idle for the
designated period of time, the
camcorder will shut off completely and
will need to be turned on again with the
power button before the next use.
Off
Auto Power-Off disabled.
1 min
Auto power off in 1 min if no operation.
3 min
Auto power off in 3 min if no operation.
5 min
Auto power off in 5 min if no operation.
Beep Sound
You have the option to disable all of
the sound effects that the camcorder
emits when performing functions
(except for during the Self-Timer
countdown).
On
Off
Sets the
camcorder’s beep sound on or
off.
Start Sound
You have the option to disable the
sound effect that the camcorder emits
while powering on and off.
On
Off
Sets the
opening/closing
sound on or off.
Language
You can select your camcorder’s
language setting by selecting the
desired language from the Language
menu.
English
Selects the display language.
