Photo Capture Mode
The Photo Capture mode allows you to capture pictures with your digital camcorder.
When you first turn on the camcorder, the camcorder will be in Video Capture mode by default.
To access the Photo Capture Mode:
1. Press the
MODE
button to open the Mode menu options.
2. Press the
UP
/
DOWN
button to highlight
DSC
.
3. Press the
OK / Shutter
button to select and enter the
DSC
Mode.
Taking a Picture
1. While in Photo Capture Mode use the LCD display to direct the camcorder at the scene
you would like to capture.
Note:
The number of photos that can be taken appears on the top right of the LCD screen.
After the photo is taken the number is reduced by one. The amount of photos that
can be captured depends on the selected photo resolution and the size of the SD
Memory Card installed in your camcorder.
2. To adjust the camcorder display you can use the zoom control lever.
Push the zoom control lever UP to zoom in :
T/Zoom In (UP)

Push the zoom control lever DOWN to zoom out:
W/Zoom Out (DOWN)
.
You can magnify your subject up to 4 times using the digital zoom.
The following Digital Zoom Indicator appears on the right side of the LCD screen:

Press the
Shutter
button to capture your photo.
4. The photo is automatically saved to the
camcorder’s SD Memory card.
