6. Operating instructions
6.5 Overheat protection
•
If the hair dryer becomes too hot it will automatically turn off.
•
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before handling it again.
•
Check to see if the air inlet opening (9) is dirty and remove hair, lint or any other matter
7. Cleaning and care
Warning - Risk of electric shock!
Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse
electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product
under running water.
Warning - Property damage!
When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp
objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive
cleaning mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
•
Clean the product’s exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and
then dry them thoroughly.
•
Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example,
through the switch).
•
Clean the air inlet opening (9) regularly. Remove it completely from
the hair dryer (Fig. 1).
•
Remove hair and lint. Ensure that the air inlet opening (9) is locked again securely after cleaning.
8. Disposal
Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated
collection point for the recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you will help to conserve
resources and protect the environment. Contact your retailer or local authorities for more
information.
