8.3 CONTACTS
It is possible to activate or deactivate the single contact with the switch on the left.
Each contact has a priority level based on its number, from 1 to 8, (1→maximum priority,
8→minimum priority).
Time schedules have lower priority than the contact.
Examples:
-If one contact has activated a playlist, and in that moment the scheduling should start playing
another playlist, the latter won't be effective.
-If one contact has activated a playlist, and in that moment another contact with lower priority is
closed, no action will be performed. Instead, if the contact closed has higher priority, the related
playlist will be played immediately.
The playlist assigned to each contact is select table from the drop down menu in each section.
If “Repeats” option is selected, GRM1 will repeat the playlist until the status is changed from that
same contact or from a higher priority contact.
If “End playlist” is selected, the playback won't be stopped until the end of the playlist (an
interruption will happen only if a contact with higher priority is activated or if STOP button is
pressed).
On the “Logic” list it is possible to choose the operation logic for the contact: “Level” or “Impulse”.
Choosing “level” the input contact will be controlled by a level (eg. as long as the contact is kept
closed, the status will not change). If the logic is set to “impulse”, only an impulse detected on the
input will perform the activation (minimum impulse 1 second).
On “Contact type” it is possible to choose the contact logic between Normally Open or Normally
Closed (NO-NC).
Contact number 1 is assigned by default the EVAC playlist, containing an evacuation message in
Italian and English.
