Preload the pulley 
 

 

Turn  the  pulley  until  you  find  the  origin  of  the 
spring tension. 

 
Identify the hole for the pull starter pulley pulley 
 

 

Hold the pulley in place and wind 3 turns of rope 
counterclockwise. 

 
Turn the pulley 3 turns anticlockwise to get the 
correct preload of the recovery spring. 

 

Secure the rope with a  cable tie and make a 
white mark on the rope. 
 

When  the  engine  will  be  installed  on  the 
paramotor:

check the position of the white mark 

-

 

remove the cable tie
