2553/ 2553E Command Guide
•
The user transmits: PRINT=WAVEFORMS/C/CONT-VA/x1/PCL<NL>
The 2553/ 2553E initiates printing of a single-page graphical representation of the
voltage, current and power waveforms for phase C, using a x1 zoom. The printer is
assumed to support PCL level 2 graphics with a minimum of 75dpi raster graphics
capability. For the PCL format only, the CONT-VA and CONT-VW formats yield
the same printout, as all three waveforms are printed in each case.
•
The user transmits: PRINT=HISTORY/A/A-RMS/PCL<NL>
The 2553/ 2553E initiates printing of a single-page graphical representation of the
RMS current historical data for phase A. The printout includes the time of day for
each division.
Controlling SRQ Activity
STATUS
This command sets the Serial Poll Response Byte Mask. The STATUS command filters,
which events in the Serial Poll Response Byte will cause the IEEE488.1 interface SRQ
line to be asserted by the 2553/ 2553E. The data portion of this command is formed by
the addition of the codes, which the user selects to cause the SRQ line to become
asserted.
Table 1 on page 16, contains the bit definitions for both the Serial Poll Response Byte
and the Serial Poll Response Byte Mask.
Notes –
•
If the command is sent with zero data (i.e., STATUS=0) then the 2553/ 2553E will
release the IEEE488.1 interface SRQ line and clear the Serial Poll Response Byte.
•
This command does not affect the byte read by the controller as a result of any of the
methods by which it may read the Serial Poll Response Byte, only whether the 2553/
2553E asserts the SRQ line (or not).
•
If the specified code is already asserted, then the SRQ line will be immediately
asserted.
•
If the 2553/ 2553E is already asserting the SRQ line due to a status bit being set,
which was previously included, but is no longer, and the STATUS command does
not have the data 0, then the 2553/ 2553E will continue asserting the SRQ line. This
is due to the causative event, allowed at the time it occurred, that is yet to be
recognized by the controller.
Examples –
•
The user transmits: STATUS=0<NL>
The 2553/ 2553E clears the Serial Poll Response Byte Mask and releases the SRQ
line.
