2. GENERAL USE & 

SAFETY WARNINGS

While using this device, several 

basic safety precautions must 

always be followed in order to reduce 

the risk of fire, electric shocks and 

personal injuries. 

 

Read and understand the 

manual before start using this 

equipment. Save this manual for 

future reference.

2.1 - GENERAL

Always use the device with care 

in a responsible manner having in 

consideration that its user is responsible 

for eventual accidents caused to third 

parties or their goods.

Make sure that all individuals using this 

tool have had the necessary training 

and have read and fully understand 

these operating instructions. Before 

operating it for the first time, its user 

must be instructed by the vendor 

or a competent person about its 

functionalities.

Never allow this machine to be used by 

children, people with limited physical, 

sensorial or mental capabilities, with 

lack of experience and knowledge of 

this equipment and who is not familiar 

with the instructions. 

Use this equipment only if you are in 

good physical and mental conditions. 

Do not use it if you are tired or under 

the influence of alcohol, drugs or 

medication. If you suffer from any 

health problem, please ask your doctor 

about the possibility of using the tool. 

 

Never direct the laser ray towards 

persons or animals and do not 

look straight at the ray. This device 

produces class 2 laser rays, according 

to IEC 60825-1. A long exposure to the 

laser rays might cause blindness.

This device has a warning sticker. 

Before the first utilization, make sure 

the sticker is glued on and never use 

the device if the warning sign is not 

legible.  

Wearing laser protective glasses 

reduces the risk of eye injuries. Make 

sure the glasses characteristics match 

the type of laser ray.

 

This device must only be 

operated as described in this 

instruction manual. No other use is 

allowed besides the described, or it might 

cause injuries due to laser ray exposure.

For safety reasons, any changes other 

than the assembly of accessories 

authorized by the manufacturer are 

prohibited. Any changes made void the 

warranty. 

You can obtain any information about 

the authorized accessories through 

your VITO official distributor.

Do not expose this device to rain or use 

it in wet or damp environments. The 

presence of water in an electric tool 

increases the risk of damage.

Do not expose the laser to direct sun 

light, excessively high temperatures 

and temperature fluctuation. In case 

of using the device under these 

conditions, the accuracy may not be 

precise. 

 

Do not use the lasers in an 

explosive environment, especially 

in the presence of flammable liquids, 

gases or dusts. Any power tool may form 

sparks that might ignite liquids, gases, or 

dust.

2.2 - MAINTENANCE 

AND CLEANING 

Cleaning:

Always keep the device clean and dry, 

free from oil, lubricants and grease. 

Clean every component and accessory 

after using the device. 

Do not use aggressive cleaning 

products. These products may damage 

plastics and metals, compromising the 

safe operation of the machine.

Maintenance:

Only maintenance works described in 

this instruction manual may be carried 

out; all other works must be performed 

by an official distributor.

Keep all the nuts and screws well 

tightened in order to ensure a safe 

operation.

2.3 - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

This device must be repaired only by 

the brand official technical service or 

by qualified technicians and only with 

original replacement parts.

3. ASSEMBLY 

INSTRUCTIONS

3.1 - BATTERIES PLACEMENT/

REPLACEMENT

When selecting and using batteries, 

some aspects must be considered:

 Use alkaline batteries (2 x 1.5V LR03 

AAA or 2 x 1.2V HR03 AAA );

 Use batteries from the same fabricant, 

type and capacity;

 Replace the batteries at the same 

time. Do not mix old/discharged 

batteries with new/charged batteries;

 If the device will not be used for a long 

period of time, remove the batteries. 

These might rust or discharge during 

storing period;

 The discharged or worn out batteries 

must be eliminated according to local 

rules and laws;
