the brand official technical service or 

by qualified technicians and only with 

original replacement parts.

3. ASSEMBLY 

INSTRUCTIONS

3.1 - BATTERY ASSEMBLY 

(FIG. B)

1. Insert the battery (11) in the drill’s 

fitting (7) and press it until listen 

to a “click” of the battery’s locking/

unlocking button.  After this, the battery 

is correctly placed;

2. To remove it, press the locking/

unlocking button and pull the battery;

Use VITO lithium batteries 20V.

3.2 - DRILL’S AND BITS 

ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY/

REPLACEMENT (FIG. C)

Never assemble or replace the 

drills and bits accessories with the 

equipment turned on. Always turn it 

off before proceeding to any of these 

operations.  

1. Place the rotation mode selector (10) 

into middle position to lock the “ON/

OFF” switch (9); 

2. Hold the tool by the handle (6) with 

one hand and untighten the quick chuck 

(2) clockwise until the opening allows 

inserting the drill or accessory;

3. Insert the drill or the bits accessory 

into the quick chuck;

4. Hold the equipment by the handle 

and tighten the quick chuck counter 

clockwise until the drill or bits 

accessory is completely fixed;

When using screwing bits, use the 

universal bits accessory.

Make sure that the drill or bits 

accessory are properly 

assembled and well tightened before 

tuning the tool on. Misassembled or 

loosen accessories may cause 

accidents and injuries.  

4. OPERATING 

INSTRUCTIONS

This tool can be used to perform drilling 

and tightening/untightening operations. 

For that, drills and screwing bits are 

used.

When operating the equipment, some 

precautions must be considered: 

� Do not apply too much pressure 

against the working piece/object. If the 

speed decreases abruptly, reduce the 

pressure;

� When the tightening/untightening 

accessory gets stuck, turn the 

equipment off immediately. Avoid 

the reaction binaries that origin the 

kickback;

� Never leave the machine before the 

rotating part is completely stopped;

� Turn the machine off in case of:

- Lubricant leaking through the vent grid;

- Damages in the machine housing;

- Damages in the “ON/OFF” switch;

- Formation of smoke or smell of burnt;

4.1 - DRILL’S START AND STOP

1. Press the “ON/OFF” switch (9) and 

lean the drill or accessory against the 

surface or screw to drill or tightening/

untightening, respectively; 

2. To increase and decrease the 

rotation speed, press or relieve the 

“ON/OFF” switch, respectively. The 

maximum speed is reached when the 

switch is fully pressed;

3. To turn the equipment off, release 

the “ON/OFF” switch;

When the equipment is running, the 

indicator led (8) is activated.  

4.2 - SELECTING THE 

ROTATION MODE AND 

LOCKING THE “ON/OFF” 

SWITCH (FIG. E)

Do not change the rotation direction 

while the equipment is running: it will 

cause serious damages to the tool. 

Always check the rotation direction 

before start operating the tool. 

1. Use the rotation mode selector (10) 

to select the shaft rotation direction:

� With the selecting button to the left 

(a), the shaft spins clockwise (a);

� With the selecting button to the right 

(b), the shaft spins counter clockwise 

(b);

� With the selecting button in the 

middle, the “ON/OFF” switch (9) is 

locked;

4.3 - SELECTING THE 

ROTATION SPEED (FIG. F)

The equipment allows selecting two 

speeds (1 and 2). Move the speed 

selector (5) according to the desired 

rotation speed and type of work;

1. Use speed 1 when using tightening/

untightening bits; 

2. Use speed 2 when using drills for 

drilling works;

The rotation speed can also be 

adjusted through the “ON/OFF” switch 

(9). The speed increases as the switch 

is pressed.

4.4 -SELECTING THE 

OPERATING MODE (FIG. G)

This equipment can be operated in 

three different modes: drilling, impact 

drilling and screwing.
