2. GENERAL USE & 

SAFETY WARNINGS

While using agricultural 

equipment, several basic 

safety precautions must always be 

followed in order to reduce the risk 

of fire, electric shock and personal 

injuries.

 

Read and understand the 

manual prior to operating this 

tiller. Save these instructions and 

other documents supplied with this 

machine for future reference.

2.1 - GENERAL

These preventive measures are 

essential for your safety. Always use 

the machine with care in a responsible 

manner.

This machine may only be used by who 

have read the instruction manual and by 

who is familiar with its handling. Before 

using it, the user must be instructed by 

the vendor or other competent person 

about its use.

This instruction manual is an integral 

part of the machine and must always 

be provided. 

Get familiar with the equipment’s 

control devices and operation. The user 

must know how to stop the equipment 

immediately.

Be focused and use common sense 

while operating an electrical tool. A 

moment of inattention may result in 

serious injuries. 

Use this machine only if you are in 

good physical and mental conditions. 

Do not use this machine if you are ti-

red or under the influence of alcohol, 

drugs or medication. If you suffer from 

any health problem, please ask your 

doctor about the possibility of using the 

machine. 

Never allow the machine to be used by 

children, people with limited physical, 

sensorial or mental capabilities, with 

lack of experience and knowledge of 

this machine and who is not familiar 

with the instructions. 

This machine must only be used 

as described in this instruction 

manual. No other use is allowed 

besides the described.

Do not overload the power tool and use 

it properly for each type of work. Using 

this equipment for purposes other than 

the intended and an improper use of the 

accessories may result in dangerous 

situations.

For safety reasons, any changes other 

than the assembly of accessories 

authorized by the manufacturer are 

prohibited. Any changes made void the 

warranty.

2.2 - ELECTRICAL SAFETY

This power tool has double 

insolation, which means that 

every external metallic part is protected 

from the electric components. 

According to the EN 60745 regulation 

it is not necessary any earth connection. 

However, double insolation does not 

provide the regular safety precautions, 

those that must be followed while using 

the equipment. 

Do not expose any power tools to 

rain or use them in wet or damp 

environments. The presence of water 

in an electric tool increases the risk of 

damage and electric shock to the user.

Hold firmly the equipment by the 

isolated parts to avoid electrical shocks 

in case of contact with hidden cables 

while operating the machine.

Do not use this machine in an 

explosive environment, 

especially in the presence of flammable 

liquids, gases or dusts. Any power tool 

may form sparks that might ignite 

liquids, gases, or dust.

2.3 - BEFORE OPERATING

Make sure that the machine is only used 

by who is familiar with the instruction 

manual.

To ensure a safe operation, you must:

� Check the power tool before using 

it. Check that all the accessories are 

correctly assembled and attached to 

the machine and in good conditions. 

Never use damaged accessories;

� Check if all nuts and screws are 

properly tightened. It is important to 

check the machine regularly in order to 

ensure its security and efficiency;

� After assembling the accessories and 

before using the equipment, test it at 

full speed at no load for a few seconds. 

Verify if there are any misalignments in 

the moving parts or any condition that
