Protection against Playback Interruption
(ESP/ANTI-SHOCK SYSTEM)
• When the function is activated, it stops playback interruption after external
pressure.
• Press ESP button (14) during CD playback, the message "ESP" starts
flashing and the function of protection against playback interruption
(ESP/ANTI-SHOCK SYSTEM) is activated.
• If external pressure continuously impacts on the player for more than 45
seconds (in CD mode) or 120 seconds (in MP3 mode), the sound can be
interrupted, and the message "ESP" will flash.
• To turn off the function, press ESP button (14) once again.
Note:
• When the protection against playback interruption is activated, the disc
rotates faster, than in the normal playback mode. To economize battery
use, use this function only when necessary.
• The function does not improve the playing of scratched or spoiled discs.
•
IMPORTANT! In MP3 mode the function of protection against play
back interruption is always active, and it is impossible to switch it
off.
HOLD Switch (17)
It is used to block all buttons on the player. To activate it, put HOLD switch
(17) in "ON" position.
CARE
Cleaning the Device
Wipe the exterior of the player with a soft cloth slightly moistened with warm
soapy water.
Handling CD Discs
• Your player has been created to play discs with CD or MP3 marking. Discs
of other formats will not work.
• Always put discs with the label side facing up.
• Damage of a disc surface or its improper handling affects the playback
quality.
• To prevention disc damage, handle it accurately.
• Keep disc surface clean and, if necessary, wipe it with a dry cloth from the
center to the edge.
• Do not use cleaning sprays, antistatics or chemical reagents to clean the
