During steam ironing the boiler heating
element switches on periodically, and the
indicator (11) can flash or light constantly. It
is normal.
–
Before starting steam ironing, wait till
the boiler and the soleplate (6) heat up.
Otherwise there can be dropping from the
steam openings of the soleplate (6).
–
Before operating test the heated iron on the
piece of cloth to be sure that the soleplate
(6) is clean and the steam has no foreign
inclusions.
DRY IRONING
1.
Place the iron on base (9).
2.
Insert the power plug into the socket, the pilot
lamp (13) will be flashing.
3.
Turn the temperature control knob (4) to set
the required ironing temperature: «•», «••»,
«•••» or «MAX».
4.
Set the steam intensity knob (12) to position «
» (steam supply is off).
5.
Switch on the unit by pressing the button (13)
, the pilot lamp (13) will light constantly,
the soleplate heating indicator (2) will light
up, the base illumination (8) will light up, and
the steam readiness indicator (11) will be
flashing.
6.
When the soleplate (6) temperature reaches
the desired temperature, the indicator (2) will
go out, you can start ironing.
7.
After you finish ironing set the temperature
control knob (4) to the “MIN” position.
8.
Switch the unit off by pressing the button (13)
and unplug it.
9.
Wait till the iron cools down completely.
STEAM IRONING
1.
Place the iron on base (9).
2.
Insert the power plug into the socket, the pilot
lamp (13) will be flashing.
3.
Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (16).
4.
Set the desired temperature of ironing within
the range between «••» and МАХ by turning
the knob (4).
5.
Set the necessary steam intensity with a
continuous steam supply knob (12):
-
steam supply is off;
- maximum steam
intensity.
6.
Switch on the unit by pressing the button (13)
, the pilot lamp (13) will light constantly,
the soleplate heating indicator (2) will light
up, the base illumination (8) will light up, and
the steam readiness indicator (11) will be
flashing.
7.
When the indicator (2) goes out and the
indicator (11) lights constantly, you can start
ironing.
8.
Press and hold the button (3) for several
seconds to activate steam supply.
9.
Between operations place the unit on the
base (9) after the steam goes out from the
soleplate (6) steam openings completely. Do
not allow dropping on the base (9)!
10.
After you finish ironing, set the temperature
control knob (4) to the “MIN” position, and
the steam supply knob (12) to the position
«
» (steam supply is off).
11.
Place the iron on its base (9).
12.
Switch the unit off by pressing the button (13)
and unplug it.
13.
Wait till the unit cools down completely, then
remove the water tank (16) and pour the
water from it (see “CLEANING AND CARE”).
CONTINUOUS STEAM SUPPLY
If necessary, you can switch on the continuous
steam supply, that helps to avoid pressing the
button (3).
1.
To do this when ironing take the iron from
the base (9) and set the continuous steam
supply button (1) to the position “LOCK”
(pic. 5). Thus the steam supply button (3) is
blocked, and the steam will be released from
the soleplate (6) openings constantly.
2.
To cancel the continuous steam supply, set
the button (2) to the initial position (pic. 6).
ATTENTION!
If steam is not supplied constantly during the
operation, check the correct position of the
switch (1) and make sure that there is water in
the tank.
VERTICAL STEAMING
Vertical steaming function can be used only
at high ironing temperatures when the iron
temperature control knob (4) is set to “•••” or
“MAX” position.
Hold the iron vertically at the distance of 10-30
cm from the clothes, press the steam supply
