Then regular preventive procedures to be performed 1-3 times a week per
40-60 minutes each. The number and duration of sessions are to be chosen
to support blood pressure on its optimal level.
It should be taken into consideration that vibroacoustic therapy reinforces effect of
antihypertensive drugs. So, patients receiving vibroacoustic treatment in combination
with drug therapy should obey the following rules:

daily control of arterial pressure (in the morning and in the evening);
¾
drug dose prescribed by the doctor is a full daily drug dose;
¾
daily drug dose should be taken during the day in equal parts or as it is recommended
by doctor;
¾
complex therapy should start with taking full drug dose prescribed by the doctor; in the
course of treatment the dose should be gradually reduced up to achievement of desirable
clinical effect together with prolongation of single VITAFON-

session;
¾
drug dose leading to achievement of desirable clinical effect is a sufficient one;
¾
drug dose reduction of which leads to elevation of optimal arterial pressure is a
minimal or supportive dose;
¾
full drug withdrawal can take place only on the condition that arterial pressure does
not increase higher than 160 mm. of mercury when no drugs taken and vibroacoustic
therapy is continuing;
¾
it should be taken into consideration that effect of vibroacoustic therapy becomes
obvious in 1-2 hours after the first procedure and is effective from 6 to 24 hours; more
than it, the healing effect accumulates with every new procedure performed.
During the treatment, the drug dose should be corrected to keep higher systolic
pressure within the range of 145–160 mm. of mercury,
if doctor does not prescribe
some other scheme
. It is not recommended to reduce the drug dose fast. To keep arterial
pressure at the optimal level, the dose should be gradually reduced up to the achievement
of desirable clinical effect together with prolongation of single VITAFON-

only. This period continues for 1–6 weeks or more depending of severity and age of
