4 Components, symbols
4.1 Non-electrified upright
Non-electrified uprights are not fitted with a power track
and are used solely for mechanical connection.

4.2 Electrified upright
Electrified uprights are fitted with a power track. An
electrified upright is always positioned on the front left of
the furniture.

4.3 Connection frame
Two connection frames form a fixed shelf structure in
conjunction with four uprights. The connection frame has
a hexagonal screw (SW5) in each corner.
Electrified connection frames are fitted with a contacting
unit under the front left corner.

4.4 Connection frame with feed cable
A connection frame with a feed cable is used for electri-
fied structures. The frame is fitted with a cable and a con-
nector. The connection frame is connected to a converter
and feeds the current into an electrified upright.
Electrified connection frames are fitted with a contacting
unit under the front left corner.
