4.7 Compiling C Programs
This section describes program compilation using Code Composer Studio. For DOS prompt
compilation, copy the path settings from C:\ti\DosRun.bat to the beginning of C:\ti\work\cc.bat and
adjust the compiler settings according to section 4.6.
1. Start Code Composer Studio 3.1.
2. Open a project file “new528_CCS3xr.pjt” as described in section

Now CCS opens a new project:
3. Copy your source code to your project directory (for instance C:\ti\myprojects\NewProject).
4. Press again the right mouse button and select “Add Files” and browse to the source file – for
instance “blob.c” (alternatively use the pull down menu “Projects” and then “Add Files to
Project” and browse to blob.c).
