11 Software Upgrade

There are two ways to upgrade your digital video recorder. 1.
The PC client software, 2. Via a USB stick directly on the
recorder. Read the following information carefully before you
start an upgrade.

4.11.1 Client Software Upgrade

Please check the  version of the DVR before you upgrade so that you can always return to the
older version when the upgrade fails. When the system is running well with  almost no
defects, it becomes strongly discouraged to update the system.

If you want to upgrade you must ensure that the power is OK and that the network is stable.
When the update is interrupted, there may be serious flaws in the recorder afterwards.

Please ensure that the upgrade for your device is compatible, check the model number and
whether the interface has a boot and whether it corresponds with all that which is stated on
your recorder. If you do not update correctly, the unit must be returned to the factory, in
your case the office of Viscoo Netherlands BV!

After an upgrade, you can consult the manual for the adjustment of the new version, which
can be downloaded from the website.
