Problem
Possible cause
Rectification
The camera is
not working.
The batteries are
inserted incorrectly.
Remove the batteries and
insert them properly. Pay
attention to the correct
polarity (see chapter
"Inserting / replacing the
batteries").
The batteries are dead. Replace all four
batteries with new ones ( see
chapter "Inserting / replacing
batteries") .
The camera
does not display
any image or the
image is very
poor.
The batteries are dead
or very weak.
The lighting in the
camera head is not
adequate.
The brightness of the
display is not adjusted
correctly.
Replace all four batteries with
new ones.
Increase the light (see
chapter "Switching the LED
camera light on / off").
Increase the brightness
(see chapter "Adjusting the
background brightness").
The image
suddenly
disappears or
there is a lot of
disturbance.
The camera head
came into contact with
electrical parts.
Pull the flexible shaft out
and switch off the camera
for a moment. If necessary,
switch off the mains fuse
for that area. Then start the
inspection again.
