ESERV-10 configuration parameters
1. Serial settings
Speed (bps)
Speed setting between ESERV-10 and the attached serial device. Valid baud rates are 1200,
2400, 4800, 9600, 19200 and 38400 bits per second.
Data bits
Data bits (7 or 8) between ESERV-10 and the attached serial device.
Stop bits
Stop bits (1 or 2) between ESERV-10 and the attached serial device.
Parity
Parity settings between ESERV-10 and attached serial device (
None, Even, Odd).
Flow control
Flow control settings between ESERV-10 and attached serial device (
None, HW).
RS - mode (switch selectable)
View serial port mode (RS-232 or RS-485/422)

configurable only by DIP switch

2. Network settings
IP address
ESERV-10’s IP address. The IP address is given in a dotted decimal representation, for
example 172.16.8.10.
Network mask
Network mask for ESERV-10. For example, for class C network default netmask is
255.255.255.0.
Default gateway
Network default gateway which is used to get to another subnets.
Type of service (TOS)
IPv4 type of service.
Enable BOOTP
Use BOOTP protocol to get IP address and netmask (needs BOOTP server on network, for
example Viola Configurator BOOTP server).
Store parameters from BOOTP
Stores parameters from BOOTP query to flash.
Enable WEB server
Enables and disables internal web server (TCP port 80).
