DESCRIPTION
The 6923 supplementary power supply is used in ELVOX 2-LINE installations to provide electricity to electronic panels and video entry systems as a supple-
ment to the 6922 main power supply. For monitors use the output terminals “-“ and “+U”, for all other devices use the output terminals “-“ and “+I”. The power
supply is required where there are more video panels and/or where there’re several video entry systems that turn on at the same time with the same call. The
power supply can provide electricity to only one specific device, panel or video entry system.
The tables show when it is necessary to use a 6923 power supply, based on the number of panels in the installation and based on the number of interphones
or video entry systems that are enabled or turn on at the same time. One power supply type 6922 powers up to 3 units at the same time, beyond them it is
necessary to use a power supply type 6923 for each unit added: In case the absorption exceeds the 3 units, use type 6923 to supply the monitors and the
entrance panels and leave the dedicated power supply to the other appliances.
Power consumption for each unit:
Video entrance panel
= 1 unit
Audio entrance panel
= ½ unit
Monitor switched on
= 1 unit
1 concentrator type 692C
= 1/3 units
1 distributor type 692D/2
= 1/20 units

TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Housing in technopolimer class V0 in 4 DIN modules case.
- 230V 50 Hz 15VA supply voltage (on request other supply voltages).
- 28V D.C. output voltage (idle operation), 26V D.C. with load 0,5A (intermittent service) protected by PTC for auxiliary services.
- Primary internal protection against short-circuits and thermical variations by PTC.
- Overall dimensions: 75x100x65 mm.
INSTALLATION
The power supply may be surface wall-mounted with expansion screws provided, or on 4 DIN module rail cases. It is advised to connect the mains by using
a magnetothermic bipolar switch.
The power supply is equipped with a thermical PTC protection, which, in case of overload on the secondary, disconnects the mains until the damage is
repaired.
