4. USE
4.1 If the APP does not identify the cemera
o It is essential at the initial configuration stage that the telephone is connected to the Wi-Fi network that will
be used for the video camera connection.
4.2 The router is not on the list
o Check that the router's SSID (the name with which a Wi-Fi network can be identified by all its users) is visible
and not hidden.
4.3 No image
o Check that the power supply reaches the video camera and that it is connected to the network.
4.4 Motion detection not working
o Check that the function is on in the alarm configuration menu
4.5 The APP does not record videos
o Check that you have turned on the continuous recording function or on the alarm.
4.6 E-mail sending does not work
o Check that the parameters of the mail are properly configured from the specific web interface.
4.7 White spots during night vision
o Try not to film on reflecting surfaces such as mirrors, glass windows or shiny surfaces in general.
4.8 SD card fault
o Check that the SDCard is properly inserted, that it has been formatted and, if necessary, that it is working.
4.9 Incorrect Date Time
o Manually set the time or set the automatic time adjustment function and check that the time zone is correct.
Activate the daylight saving time, if necessary.
4.10 List of compatible routers.
o No particular limitation, it is compatible with most Wi-Fi routers available on the market.
4.11 Lack of notice push on smartphone
o Verify the correct configuration of parameters of the smartphone, the notices should be disabled or set on
silent mode.
- For Android system: enter to the menu ‘Setting’, section ‘Notices’, select Elvox Wi-Fi Cam and enable the
notice receiving and the sound.
- For iOS system: enter to the menu ‘Setting’, section ‘Notices’, select Elvox Wi-Fi Cam and enable the notice
receiving and the desire sound.
