Electric energy may cause serious injuries to persons!
Always wear personal protective equipment!
Problem
Description
Solution
Material does not
heat up
The LED indicator light on
the induction heater flash-
es red:
After pushing the control
button - incorrect (inappro-
priate size or number of
windings) or incorrectly
connected heating coil
Use a standard heating coil and check its connec-
tion for whether it is inserted correctly and whether
the safety screws are tightened correctly.
The LED indicator light on
the front flashes red:
After pushing the control
button, the overload pro-
tection is activated during
heating.
Increase the distance between the material and the
heating coil or use a larger heating coil.
Check whether the induction heater is connected
to the mains supply. The supply from the mains or
the frequency can be delayed. The plug can be
connected to an alternate power source (genera-
tor) or a DC/AC inverter, which has a quasi-sine or
trapezoidal wave rather than a sine wave. Also
check the power.
Plug the induction heater into another socket.
Malfunction of another unit, which is connected to
the same mains supply.
Malfunction due to an unsuitable extension cord.
The function of the induction heater can be
checked by pressing the control button and using a
correctly inserted standard heating coil. The LED
indicator light should light up yellow.
The material
heats up slowly
The material only heats up
slowly or not at all.
Use a heating coil with a circumference 10 mm
larger than the material to be heated.
Check whether the material is ferromagnetic.
The cable of the
handle gets
warm.
The temperature of the ca-
ble is higher.
Check load duration to ensure that the induction
heater is not overloaded. Always maintain the op-
erating time of 2 minutes of heating and 2 minutes
of cooling off.
Only leave the induction heater to cool under con-
stant supervision.
