Emissions test mode for testing flue gas should only
be activated by your flue gas inspector during the
annual inspection.
Whenever possible, carry out emissions testing during
the heating season.
Activating emissions test mode
Note
It is not recommended to manually start the fuel cell
module immediately before the emissions test.
Depending on the heat-up condition of the DHW cylin-
der and the heat drawn by the heating circuits, there is
no guarantee that the fuel cell module will operate long
enough to carry out the emissions test. The start
phase may take up to 2.5 hours.
Tap the following on-screen buttons:

At least one hour before the emissions test, set the
operating mode to
"Ecological"
or
"Energy man-
ager OFF"

The fuel cell module is being prepared for emis-
sions test mode, this may take some time.

If the fuel cell module is in operation, the flue gas
emissions test can be carried out.
■
If the fuel cell module is not in operation, the fol-
lowing display is shown:
"Test mode currently not possible; see oper-
ating instructions"
■
Check the operating status of the fuel cell mod-
ule: See page 24.
For further steps, see below.

Follow the instructions on the display.
If test mode is possible, the fuel cell module starts.
Note
Ensure that enough heat is transferred while the
function is active.

After emissions testing, return the operating mode
to
"Ecological"

"Economical"
or
"Energy man-
ager OFF"
, depending on the previously set mode.

On the day before emissions testing, temporarily set
the operating mode to
"Power generation OFF"
