Installing the General Connection Kit and the Collector Temperature Sensor
(cont.)
1.
Insert the connection pipes as far as
possible, then secure them with
profile clips.
2.
Fit the elbow to the return connector.
3.
Fit the tee onto the supply connector.
4.
Insert the sensor well into the tee,
counterholding the tee.
5.
Insert the strain relief fitting onto the
sensor well.
6.
Insert the collector temperature
sensor as far as possible into the
sensor well and secure with strain
relief fitting.
7.
Insert the U-pipe as far as possible,
then secure with profile clips.
Note:
Use the U-pipe with air vent
wE
for
all installations with tubes mounted
horizontally.
8.
Insert the support sleeves into the
Viessmann supplied 3/4” x metric
copper adaptors. Connect the copper
adaptors to the pipework of the solar
heating circuit.
9.
Check the system pressure and test
for leaks (only after installing tubes).
Refer to the Vitosol
200-T Service Instructions.
10.
Fit the thermal insulation and join its
cut faces with adhesive.
11.
Fit the thermal insulation cap.
The procedure for installing the
compression fittings is as follows:

Ensure that all pipe ends are
square and free from burring.
H
Push the union nut and the clamping
ring onto the pipes and moisten with
a little oil.
H
Push the pipe as far as it will go into
the clamping ring connection.
H
First tighten the union nut by hand,
then tighten by a

turn with an
open-end wrench.
Do not use annealed copper pipes on
compression fittings.
