Danger
The pressure-jet oil/gas burner may still be hot
shortly after operation. Risk of injury due to hot
components.
1. Allow the heating system time to cool down.
2. Only touch handles and identified parts.
3. Do not touch the flame tube on any account.

Please note
The retractable burner carriage is pre-loaded
with springs. The pressure-jet oil/gas burner
may be damaged if it is extended and retracted
without due care and attention.
1. Slowly extend and retract the pressure-jet
oil/gas burner.
2. Never allow the retractable burner carriage to
shoot out.
Retracting the pressure-jet oil/gas burner
Conditions to be met before retracting the pressure-jet
oil/gas burner:
■
Ensure that the boiler is no longer burning logs and
no embers are left.
■
The boiler has been fully cleaned.
■
The flue gas fan and chimney have been cleaned.
■
No more ash is present.
Note
Clean the boiler prior to operation with the pressure-jet
oil/gas burner. When combined with oily combustion
residues, ash forms a greasy film which is difficult to
remove.
1.
Slightly pull back the pressure-jet oil/gas burner.
Hold it in this position.
2.
Open the flap.
3.
Slowly retract the pressure-jet oil/gas burner as far
as it will go.
Starting the pressure-jet oil/gas burner
Conditions that must be met before starting the burner:
■
The pressure-jet oil/gas burner is retracted.
■
The pressure-jet oil/gas burner has been set in the
control unit.
Note
The pressure-jet oil/gas burner is set in the control
unit if the
"Burner"
item is listed in the Standard
menu.
1.
Select
"Burner"
in the Standard menu and press
"OK"
.
2.
Change
"No"
to
"Yes"
and press
"OK"
.
Note
The pressure-jet oil/gas burner starts automatically on
the next heat demand. The air dampers close automat-
ically.
Stopping the pressure-jet oil/gas burner
1.
Select
"Burner"
in the Standard menu and press
"OK"
.
2.
Change
"Yes"
to
"No"
and press
"OK"
.
The pressure-jet oil/gas burner is stopped.
Extending the pressure-jet oil/gas burner
Conditions to be met before extending the pressure-jet
oil/gas burner:
■
Heating mode has been terminated.
■
The pressure-jet oil/gas burner has cooled down.
1.
Pull back the pressure-jet oil/gas burner as far as it
will go. Hold it in this position.
2.
Close the flap.
3.
Move the pressure-jet oil/gas burner forwards
slightly to lock the flap into place.
Note
If the pressure-jet oil/gas burner is extended, the
burner aperture is closed by the spring-loaded flap.
