Fitting/removing noise attenuating elements
●
Noise attenuating elements are equipped with
quick release fasteners for quadrant keys
(included in the standard delivery) at the base
frame for simple fitting/removal.
●
Only use these keys to prevent damage to the
locks.
●
The engine and generator are accessible once
the noise attenuating elements have been
removed.
PLEASE NOTE
Use the original panel key!
Material damage caused by use of
the incorrect panel key
Only ever use the original panel key
provided, to prevent damage to the
locks.
When opening and closing the locks, always proceed as follows:
Closing:
Lift the silencer hood plate and press against the
corresponding frame.
Please note:
Breakage can occur if the silencer
hood plate falls or is dropped. Protective
clothing/shoes must be worn!
Initial position lock open
(dot markings on lock are oriented
180° from each other)
Lock the silencer hood and turn the
key 90° anti-clockwise
(dot markings on lock are now
oriented 90° from each other)
Press down
on the silencer hood
while turning the key another 90° anti-
clockwise (dot markings on lock are
now opposite each other)
Opening:
Lift the silencer hood plate and press against the
corresponding frame.

Press down
on the silencer hood
while turning the key 90° clockwise
