For sprinkler systems in compliance with VdS, only black,
galvanised, or powder-coated steel pipes according to the
specifications for VdS approval may be used.
For nominal widths up to and including DN 50, the minimum
pipe wall thickness of 2.6 mm and the maximum wall thick-
ness of 3.3 mm are applicable. For the distances and
