6.5.2.2 Setting up the keyboard
When configuring the keyboard, the
submenu should have the
following settings:
Always make sure the baud rate is consistent with that of the
dome.
For all dome setup operations the keyboard must be enabled for CONFIGURING THE TELEMETRY
(
menu
).
6.5.2.3 Setting up the dome
After taking care of the wiring and setup, as described in the dome handbook, it is possible to complete
installation by configuring the parameters using the OSM. See the dome handbook for further details ( in
particular, refer to the section on “FASTADDRESS” to assign the address to the dome).
6.5.2.4 Conventions
On the DCJ keyboard the following conventions are used to correspond with BOSCH CONTROLS:
corresponds to the “ON” control

6.5.3 Configuration
Dome setup is carried out for the most part using the On Screen Menu.
Some parameters can be configured by pressing key combinations or by inserting special codes.
6.5.3.1 OSM Configuration

start dome setup (This command is equivalent to the sequences: “OFF-90-ENTER”, followed by
“ON-46-ENTER”).
The dome will show the on-screen menu, the keyboard display will show the mode change:
To enable all dome functions, just follow the instructions given in the dome handbook, bearing in mind the
correspondence conventions as above.

to verify the dome version, i.e. ON-66-ENTER
