Installation der Software
Sie installieren die Treibersoftware nach Installation der Hardware. Starten Sie Ihren PC neu, und
befolgen Sie die entsprechenden Schritte weiter unten, abhängig von der Windows-Version, die
Sie benutzen:
Windows 98, 2000, Me oder XP
1. Klicken Sie auf Abbrechen, falls ein Dialogfeld auftaucht mit der Meldung, dass neue
Hardware (Grafik-/Anzeige-Adapter oder Video Controller) gefunden wurde.
2. Legen Sie die Vivid!XS-CD in das CD-Laufwerk.
3. Wenn diese nicht automatisch ausgeführt wird, klicken Sie zweimal auf die CD in
Arbeitsplatz.
4. Falls Sie nicht DirectX 8.0 oder eine spätere Version betreiben, sollten Sie das Programm
nun installieren. Führen Sie nach Aufforderung einen Neustart Ihres Computers durch,
wobei Sie die CD im Laufwerk belassen.
5. Wählen Sie die Option 'Treiber installieren', folgen Sie den Anweisungen, und starten Sie
den Computer bei Aufforderung neu.
6. Falls Sie ein TV angeschlossen haben, wird Windows dieses als einen Plug & Play-
Monitor entdecken. Wählen Sie 'Automatisch nach einem besseren Treiber suchen', wenn
Sie aufgefordert werden. Windows installiert und benutzt einen geeigneten Treiber.
Installieren Sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt NICHT die Treiber für Ihren Monitor, da diese nicht mit
dem TV funktionieren - Sie müssen die Standard (Plug & Play-Monitor)-Treiber verwenden.
Falls Sie kein TV angeschlossen haben und Windows einen Monitor findet, sollten Sie die
für Ihren Monitor geeigneten Treiber installieren. In den meisten Fällen finden sich die
korrekten Treiber für Ihren Monitor in Windows, und Sie müssen keine separate Diskette
oder CD einlegen, um sie zu installieren. Andernfalls müssen Sie die Treiber benutzen, die
mit Ihrem Monitor geliefert wurden oder bei Ihrem Monitorhersteller erhältlich sind.
