Modify Password
: You can modify the password of an existing user. Access the
Modify Password
screen, select a user name, type a new password in the
New Password
text box, confirm it, and click
Save
. A password consists of a maximum of six characters. Spaces are invalid in the beginning or at the
end of a password and are valid in the middle of a password. User
admin
can modify the passwords of
other users.
3.6.5 PTZ
Channel
: Select a channel for which you want to set the PTZ parameters.
Protocol
: It is a communication protocol for PTZ motor control. It can be set to
PELCOD
or
PELCOP
and
must be consistent with the internal control protocol of the PTZ.
Address
: It is used to distinguish between PTZs. It must be consistent with the address code of a PTZ.
Ensure that the address codes of PTZs are not in conflict.
Baud rate
: It is the transmission frequency of the 485 signal. It must be consistent with the internal baud
rate setting of the PTZ.
Data Bits
: It is a transmission parameter of the 485 protocol. Five to eight options are available.
Stop Bits
: It is a transmission parameter of the 485 protocol. One or two options are available.
Parity
: It is a transmission parameter of the 485 protocol. It can be set to

Even

, or
