INSTRUMENTS, FEATURES AND CONTROLS (FLOORBOARDS)

Gear Shift Pedal (1)

The gear shift pedal is located on the left side of the motorcycle. To

shift to a lower gear, press down on the toe shift pedal. To shift to a

higher gear, lift up on the toe shift pedal.

For proper gear shifting procedure, see Shifting Gears, pages 73 and

74.

Rear Brake Pedal (2)

The rear brake pedal is on the right side of the motorcycle. To

engage the rear brake, press down on the rear brake pedal.
