Setup
Helpful Hints
Following are some guideline to follow when programming the multiplexer for Record Setup.
Record Time: If a camera is to be recorded, set it to ALWAYS or one of the
ZONE
settings; to omit a camera, set
it to SKIP.
Field Delay: When using a time-lapse VCR with a clock connection, set to
VEXT USED
and make sure a field
delay is set.
Record Mode Setup: If
TIME LAPSE
is selected, make sure the clock cable is connected from the VCR to the
TRIG IN
and
COM
on the rear panel of the unit.
VCR Input: Set to
CVBS
if BNC
connections are used; set to
Y/C
if the S-VHS connections are used.
The
RECORD SETUP
defines how the unit’s video output to the time-lapse VCR is recorded.
